Winky Double Red-White Columbine is a compact wildflower perennial with a uniform habit and delicate deep green foliage.  Its beautiful red upward facing double flowers with cream edging bloom from mid spring into summer attracting hummingbirds.  Removing stems after flowering may encourage another bloom.  Flowers best in filtered sun and rich well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Leaf miner can be a serious pest with many aquileia species and hybrids.  Freely self seeds.  Keep soils uniformly moist after bloom to prolong foliage appearance.
