Aster laevis 'Bluebird' ~ Bluebird Smooth Aster
Blue Bird Smooth Aster is a native evergreen perennial with unbranched smooth blue-green foliage that forms a basal rosette. Small soft blue violet flowers with yellow centers coat the plant in panicle-like clusters from late summer through fall. Grows best with full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils. Good drought and heat tolerance.
Syn with Symphyotrichum laeve.
