Jasoda Purple Mum is a compact evergreen perennial with a low-mounding habit and dark green foliage. The masses of large purple double flowers cover the foliage and bloom from late summer through fall. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil, but protection from afternoon sun in Southern climates.  Heat and drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance. Pinch back stems as needed to control height.  Aphids, thrips and spider mites may cause significant damage. Potential disease problems include Botrytis, leaf spots, rust, powdery mildew, stem and root rots, verticillium wilt, aster yellows, and viruses.

 LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Naturalized Areas, and Containers.
