Clematis 'Mrs N Thompson' is a stunning early-flowering clematis known for its striking bicolor flowers with deep violet-purple petals and a bright crimson central bar on each petal. Blooms primarily in late spring to early summer on old wood, with potential for a lighter second flush in late summer.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance.  Water regularly, do not let soil dry out.  It will need support if used for climbing.  Prune back dead or weak vines in late winter and trim back remaining vines to first buds seen.  Potential diseases include wilt (can be fatal), powdery mildew, and rust.  Potential pests include scale, mites, weevils, earwigs, and slugs.
