Loch Ness Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus 'Loch Ness') is a popular thornless blackberry cultivar developed in Scotland. It's highly regarded for its productivity, flavor, and growth habit. Produces large, glossy, jet-black berries with excellent sweet flavor and firm texture. Good resistance to common blackberry diseases. Requires approximately 400-500 chill hours.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance.  Water regularly. Remove fruiting canes to the ground immediately after harvest, non-fruiting canes can be tip pruned in summer.  Generally performs best when staked. Wilt, Anthracnose, and botrytis can be serious disease problems. Cane and crown borers are potential pest issues.
